A Little Bit about Me
Lecturing on the bacon-loving Bugenhagen (Photo by Megan Fryling)
My name is Martin Lohrmann. I am Associate Professor of Lutheran Confessions & Heritage at Wartburg Theological Seminary in Dubuque, IA. Before that, I served as a pastor in Philadelphia, PA. I have a PhD in historical theology, which I put to use in academic, church and community settings.
I am available for teaching or speaking engagements, as my schedule allows. A contact form is below.
I love connecting Christian faith and daily life and I try to use the best tools of scholarship to help us better understand God, faith, and the world we live in. I also like to use humor, writing, and music to do that. Blessings on your journey.
Martin
