In the summer of 2013, I took a wonderful trip to Germany & Prague with church members and other adventurous souls. We had a great time. A lot of the photos are used throughout, including my buddy Bugenhagen (to the left).

A spiritual / historical / fun / educational tour of Germany and Prague
June 4-15, 2013
Wartburg Castle (c) Wartburg Stiftung Eisenach
Highlights:
Day 1 (June 4): Leave for Berlin
Day 2: Arrive in Berlin.
Day 3: Tour & free time in Berlin
Day 4: Tour of Wittenberg & the Luther House. Enjoy a Reformation festival: ‘Luther’s Wedding’
Day 5: Visit Torgau Castle & the church where Katie Luther is buried.
Day 6: Worship in Eisleben, then to Halle.
Day 7: Tour of Leipzig, including Bach’s St. Thomas Church.
Day 8: Eisenach & Wartburg Castle
Day 9: Free time in Weimar & tour of Buchenwald, a WWII concentration camp.
Day 10: Enjoy Dresden, “the Florence on the Elbe.”
Day 11: Tour & free time in Prague, capital of the Czech Republic.
Day 12 (June 15): Return to the USA!
